Arcane Promotions is the highest profile independent promotions and booking agency in the UK metal scene having over six years experience working at the very top level in the music industry.

Our expertise includes targeted national media advertising campaigns in the major metal press, liaison with many of the biggest and most respected worldwide record labels, working with key promoters and booking agents across the UK and Europe and all things logistically related to the setup and running of gigs, festivals and tours.

Additionally, Arcane has also worked with the mainstream media including the national newspaper The Guardian and has also served as consultants on a forthcoming BBC television series which is due to air early 2007.

PROMOTION AND ELEVATION

• All your promotional material will be sent by us to UK promoters, record labels and magazines to the right people
• We will actively pursue these submissions to gain the best possible results for your band
• We will contact the major press for reviews, features and interviews for your band
• We will design your promotional literature to a professional industry standard helping you to create the desired impact and image
• Regionalised targeting of your band to key promoters in your area as well as on a national level
• You will have a dedicated presence on the Arcane website

ADVERTISING

• We can arrange bespoke media advertising campaigns to suit all budgets, from flyers and distribution to full, strategic media display advertising campaigns in the mainstream metal media

• Professional advice on all aspects of the music industry

• We can arrange for your gigs to be contracted between yourselves and the promoter; protect yourselves legally and present yourselves in a professional light

Top record labels, magazines and promoters receive literally thousands of prospective submissions yearly. These people all know of and in most cases already work directly with Arcane. Your material sent from and endorsed by us will guarantee you will be heard and not left in a mountain of unsolicited material.

Arcane will ensure your band will always get seen in the best light and your recordings will be sent directly to the appropriate people.

Unlike some agencies:

• You will not be exclusively tied to Arcane shows and events. All our bands are free to play for any other promoter or booking agent.
• All band related income remains 100% yours, we will not take a cut from your gigs, merchandise sales or royalties. We just charge a set fee for our service with no hidden extras.

Our ethos is to raise standards to their highest possible level and help bands to achieve their goals.

Selection Process

Send us a promo pack containing:

• A clearly labelled CD of your strongest recorded material (absolute minimum of 15 minutes of music)
• A recent photograph
• Biography
• An outline of your achievements to date and what you hope to achieve
• Contact details

Your CD does not need to be professionally packaged, it is the music we are interested in at this point.

Twice a month our panel gets together to assess each submission. Our panel consists of Paul and Felicity from Arcane, two well known nationally published journalists and one international recording artist – this way we get opinions from all sides of the music business. Three members of the panel must agree to take the band on board for acceptance.

Our selection process will be meticulous as we will be representing bands at the highest of levels, so please bear this in mind when submitting your material. Is the demo you recorded last year showing you at your best?
